Cacao Brownies for your Mom from Moringa Source
Mother's Day is Sunday May 14th.
She's a powerhouse who cooks, cleans and does just about everything. Time to reward Mom with a little homemade love.
This is an easy to make recipe for a busy family looking to make Mother's Day special. Using only three ingredients you can bake something for Mom in under 30 minutes. Remember to use your Moringa Source Cacao for a heart healthy treat.
- 3 overripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of your preferred nut butter (almond, cashew or peanut).
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup of Moringa Source Raw Cacao Powder. (This measurement depends on your personal preference. The more cacao powder added, the richer, more "dark-chocolate" taste your brownies will have.)
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a small cake or loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, melt your nut butter in the microwave.
- Combine your melted nut butter, bananas, and cacao powder in a mixing bowl.
- Mix very well, making sure to mash up your bananas.
- Once you are done mixing, pour your mixture into your greased cake or loaf pan.
- Bake your brownies for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked all the way through. You can determine this with a toothpick test.
- Let them cool, and enjoy! If you and your valentine can't finish the entire batch, place the leftovers in the refrigerator. They're delicious when left overnight!
So What Makes These Brownies Guilt-free?
